Rainbow Food Recipes Ideas

If you need an excuse to make rainbow foods – we have plenty! Rainbow foods are good for:

  • St. Patrick’s Day – outside of green and gold, rainbows are super festive for St. Paddy’s Day!
  • Pride Month – June is full of rainbows and support of LQBTQIA+ and these would be a great way to celebrate!
  • Birthdays – birthdays are an EXCELLENT time to have rainbow-themed foods and recipes! The sprinkles and fun colors are perfect!

Rainbow Colored Food Tips

  • Food Coloring. To get intense colors, sometimes you have to add a lot of food dye! Food dyes can make food bitter, so be sure to keep that in mind, especially when trying to get that vibrant red or pink!
  • Sprinkles. Sprinkles are a great way to add a pop of rainbow without a lot of work!
  • Candy. There are a LOT of rainbow candy options you can use to add color to foods and treats!
  • Colors. Remember, especially in baked goods, colors can change in cooking!

hi! I'm shannon

I’m a wife, mom of three, doctor, and blogger! In 2018, I decided to turn my mom blog, into a personal finance blog so others could follow along on our journey to pay off over HALF a MILLION dollars in student loan and practice start up debt. I hope you enjoy following along, and maybe even find some inspiration along the way.
