Here’s a colorful little twist to your kids’ favorite Rice Krispie treats! These sprinkle filled treats are perfect for birthday parties or celebrations of any kind.

The regular Rice Krispies sure are a lot of people’s go-to dessert but they’re just so plain and simple looking. Yes, they’re delicious, but they can be elevated even more. The addition of these iridescent sprinkles beats the basic beige to tan color of the ordinary ones and adds more festivity to the treat.

I love how these Rice Krispie treats with colorful sprinkles can look just like a Funfetti cake. These are so easy to make and require very little effort at all.

This recipe is also a perfect method to introduce your kids to the joy of cooking. 

Funfetti Rice Krispie treats look so great stacked on a plate to serve to your guests at a children’s party. You can use the brand name Kellog’s for this or any rice crispy cereal of your choice.

How to make Easy Funfetti Birthday Cake Rice Krispie Treat for your next fun and festive gathering?

  1. Gather all the ingredients that you need.
  2. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  3. Add the marshmallows and stir, then cook on low heat until they are completely melted. Check occasionally.
  4. Stir the Rice Krispies with the marshmallow mixture. Add the rainbow sprinkles.
  5. Spread the mixture into your prepared pan.
  6. Top them with additional sprinkles then allow the dish to cool so it’ll become firm.
  7. As soon as they get firm, cut the cake batter rice Krispie treats into squares in how many amounts you like.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
