What is the best cut of beef for stir fry?
To keep it budget friendly, I recommend flank steak as it’s often cheaper. However, check the mark down section in your grocers local meat department. If you can find sirloin steak, round steak or tri-tip steak marked down, those are great options as well!

How To Make Beef and Broccoli
Start by cooking your brown rice as instructed on the packaging.
Next, in a small bowl, combine the garlic, ginger, honey, soy sauce, hot sauce and sesame oil. This will become the sauce for your stir fry.
In a medium bowl, toss the sliced steak with the cornstarch until lightly coated.
Heat one tablespoon of canola oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. When hot, add the steak (shaking off any excess cornstarch) and cook, tossing until browned and crisp for about 3 minutes.
Remove the beef from the skillet. Add the remaining tablespoon of canola oil over high heat. Next, add the broccoli and cook until bright green and crisp-tender, about 3 minutes.
Add the sauce and the steak back into the skillet with the broccoli. Stir to coat everything until the sauce has thickened. Season with lime juice, salt and pepper.
Serve with rice, topped with sesame seeds and scallions.
