Homemade Frozen Breakfast Sandwiches (Meal Prep Egg Sandwiches)

These Homemade Frozen Breakfast Sandwiches with Egg are a tasty breakfast with the simple combination of egg, melty cheese, and sausage patties on a warm, toasted English Muffin.

This sandwich can be cooked and put together in only a few minutes and can be made in large batches to freeze for an easy morning freezer meal. When you buy the pre-made egg sandwiches at the store you get barely anything for your money.

Ingredients

– Large egg, beaten – Unsalted butter – English muffin – Slice of cheese, white American – Sausage patties – Salt & pepper, to taste

WHAT TO SERVE/PAIR WITH YOUR MAKE AHEAD FREEZER BREAKFAST These breakfast sandwiches make a great breakfast on their own, but you can also enjoy them with fresh fruit or a yogurt parfait if you want something a little more filling.  I also enjoy mine with an iced coffee when I’m on the go.

Yes, you can use another type of bread, but I particularly like the way that the cheese melts into the English muffin.

This is a great breakfast to prepare ahead of time and have as a freezer meal. Wrap in plastic wrap and then place inside of gallon zip lock bags to store. Make sure you put the date on the bag. Will store for 3-4 weeks.
