I love creating Halloween DIY projects, especially cheap and easy wreaths. A couple of years ago I created this $4 DIY Halloween wreath using items from Dollar Tree, and it has been one of my most popular posts on my blog to date!

When I saw these fun bats and spooky black and white ribbon at the Dollar Tree, I knew another cheap DIY Halloween wreath needed to be created. The supplies for this gothic wreath total to only $3, if you already have a glue gun at home.

This is a crazy cheap DIY craft to do at home with your kids and still have it up before Halloween in a couple of weeks.

How to make and Easy DIY Halloween Black & White Bat Wreath using Dollar Tree Supplies

Apply a small amount of glue in a 2 inch line across the back of the wreath.

Set one end of the ribbon on top of the glue, and start wrapping the ribbon around the wreath, slightly overlapping the edge of the last wrap of ribbon.

Continue wrapping until you have reached the area where you began wrapping. When you get to the first end of the ribbon that you wrapped, cut the ribbon off the spool, and hot glue to the back of the wreath.

Remove the clips from the bats, and apply a small amount of hot glue where the clips were. Arrange two bats on the wreath to cover an imperfection (if applicable) where the two ends of the ribbon met. This will be the bottom of the wreath.

Glue the other two bats towards the top, on either side.

You will have so much fun making this easy Halloween wreath! I’m already inspired to create more wreaths like this for every holiday. You can use this same simple format to make all kinds of different wreaths.

Have fun perusing the aisles of your local Dollar Tree to see what you can use to make your next holiday wreath, and let me know in the comments if you make this one!
