This one is for the die-hard Lion King fans out there! It’s a cute little twist on your favorite movie and perfect for Walt Disney lovers to serve these drink recipes to any kind of gathering! 

Disney lovers, you’ll have no worries after a few sips of this amazing Hakuna Matata or Circle of Life Cocktail Punch! Today I am sharing these wonderful Disney drinks for you to try to emulate at home and impress your family and friends.

Of course, this is very self-indulgent too and would be very nice to give yourself a sip of this lion king-inspired cocktail and punch. Whether you’re having a quiet alone time movie night at home or there’s a family dinner going on, trust that this recipe will be delightful!

I am a sucker for any kind of themed drink and this Disney cocktail recipe is a front runner in my book. The Hakuna Matata cocktail and Circle of Life punch are great choices for the events I’ve mentioned above and honestly, who wouldn’t love them?

Disney Hakuna Matata Cocktail or Disney Circle of Life Punch

As a kid, Walt Disney World has been such a magical place for me, and I know for some of you too, and the younger generations. Something about Disney parks and the atmosphere, food, and attractions just pulls you in and literally takes you into another dimension.

In order to bring Disney at home, I’ll be showing you how to make this Hakuna Matata Cocktail!

Ingredients

• 1-ounce grenadine or maraschino cherry syrup
• 1 1/2 ounce dark or spiced rum
• 1 1/2 ounce coconut rum
• 1 1/2 ounce banana liqueur
• 4-ounce pineapple juice
• Ice
• Maraschino cherries for garnish
• Orange slices

Helpful Kitchen Tools

• Ice maker
• Cocktail glasses
• Liquid measure
• Cocktail shaker (optional)

Instructions

1. Add 1/2 ounce grenadine or maraschino to the base of each glass then fill with ice.
2. Add the liquor one at a time – your spiced rum, banana liquor, and coconut rum (1 ½ ounce each)
3. Add in pineapple juice last and garnish with an orange slice for the sun and cherry in reference to Simba’s ordain.
4. Serve and enjoy! Hakuna Matata!
