Copycat Chick Fil A Mac and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large elbow macaroni
  • 2 ½ cups half and half
  • 4 tablespoons Wondra Flour
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375°F, and butter a 9×9 inch pan.

Cook macaroni for 14 minutes, drain and rinse with cool water, reserve.

In a large saucepan, bring half and half to a boil, reduce to a simmer. Whisk in Wondra and cook until thickened. Stir in cheddar, Velveeta and Parmesan. Continue stirring until completely melted. Season cheese sauce with salt and pepper to taste.

Fold in cooked macaroni and toss well. Transfer to buttered baking dish. Top with additional shredded cheddar and bake in preheated 375°F oven for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and macaroni and cheese is heated through. If desired, you may place under the broiler until golden and crispy.
