Looking for an easy Halloween cookie recipe to kick off spooky season? My daughter and I made these delicious chocolate monster cake mix cookies this past weekend and it was seriously the easiest thing we’ve ever made!
My daughter Bethany, loves to bake (she wants to be on Kid’s Baking Championship when she gets a little older), and so we’ve made it our weekend tradition to bake something easy and fun!
She’s only 5, so using a pre made box mix is extremely helpful in making the experience easy and fun for her, and still getting delicious results!
Baking with your kids is a fun bonding activity, that also helps teach important skills like measuring and following instructions.
Ingredients needed to make Monster Cookies
- 15.25oz box chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup halloween M&M’s (ghouls mix)
- Candy eyeballs
