My daughter and I made these delicious chocolate monster cake mix cookies this past weekend and it was seriously the easiest thing we’ve ever made!

My daughter Bethany, loves to bake (she wants to be on Kid’s Baking Championship when she gets a little older), and so we’ve made it our weekend tradition to bake something easy and fun!

She’s only 5, so using a pre made box mix is extremely helpful in making the experience easy and fun for her, and still getting delicious results!

Baking with your kids is a fun bonding activity, that also helps teach important skills like measuring and following instructions.

This recipe also uses this super fun M&M’s ghouls mix (I found it at Target), we love the bright colors, and you can use them to make these Ghoul’s Blondies too!

Ingredients needed to make Monster Cookies

  • 15.25oz box chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup halloween M&M’s (ghouls mix)
  • Candy eyeballs

hi! I'm shannon

I’m a wife, mom of three, doctor, and blogger! In 2018, I decided to turn my mom blog, into a personal finance blog so others could follow along on our journey to pay off over HALF a MILLION dollars in student loan and practice start up debt. I hope you enjoy following along, and maybe even find some inspiration along the way.
