What makes a good fall drink recipe?
A really good fall drink recipe will include all the flavors of fall. Warm spices, seasonal fall fruits, hot drinks to warm you on a cool day, and pumpkins are some of the most famous fall flavors.
Alcohol. Take your favorite fall drink up a notch by adding your favorite adult beverage.
Fruit. Cranberries, pumpkins, apples, pears, cranberries and plums are all perfect fall fruits!
Warm. Hot drinks are preferred in the fall since the weather gets so cool.
Fall Drink Tips
Party Drinks. If you’re making a drink for a party, something you can make a big batch of works best! Another good tip for parties is something you can make and serve from your slow cooker.
Buy Ahead. Figure out which drinks you’d like to try this fall and then buy the ingredients for them now. Then when you are ready to try a drink on a cool fall evening, you’ll be able to make it!
Pairings. Plan pairings for meals to make your dinner complete for your guests by matching flavors between your meal and the drinks served.
Budget. Buy items when they’re in season and on sale to cut down on the cost of the fall drinks you want to try or serve to guests.
You can also use your crockpot to make a pumpkin spice hot chocolate!
