Street Taco Recipe

This is another great idea to use leftover taco meat from the night before in order to prevent food waste and keep everyone’s lunch box full.

– Street taco flour tortillas – Leftover taco meat – Lettuce – Shredded cheese – Grape tomatoes, halved – Salsa, optional – Guacamole, optional – Sour cream, optional

Ingredients:

Place two or three street taco flour tortillas in the lunch box.

Procedure:

Pack lettuce, taco meat, and cheese next to tortillas.

Add taco toppings as desired (this is where you can get creative!).

You can buy small condiment cups with lids to contain the salsa, guacamole, and sour cream in your lunch box if desired.

If you have younger children, be sure to explain to your child how to assemble their tacos before sending this lunch with them to school!

Pack these mini street tacos with a side of guacamole and tortilla chips. Add your child’s favorite fruit or dessert to make this the perfect back to school lunch idea.
