Potato Soup Recipe
This potato soup recipe is an easy and delicious recipe made in the slow cooker.
It’s creamy, delicious, and loaded with bacon, cheese, and potatoes.
- bacon - potatoes - chicken or vegetable stock - all-purpose flour - evaporated milk
To the slow cooker add the cooked bacon, diced potatoes, onion, salt and pepper.
Next, pour in the vegetable or chicken stock. You will want to ensure that the potatoes are just covered.
Slow cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. You simply want the potatoes to be tender.
Once the potato soup has cooked, place the butter in a saucepan and allow to melt.
Whisk in the flour to create the roux. Allow to cook the flour off for about a minute.
