These shrimp tacos are super simple to make. Served with cabbage, cojita cheese and lime juice the flavors are simply delicious.

When serving tacos, I love to lay ingredients out buffet style so that family and/or friends, can make their own tacos with their favorite toppings.

Shrimp Taco Toppings

You can go as simple or as crazy as you want with this simple shrimp taco recipe. Here’s a few of our families favorite taco toppings:

  • limes
  • cojita cheese
  • sour cream
  • salsa
  • red onion
  • cilantro
  • avocados
  • chipotle lime ranch

  • shrimp – deveined and peeled

How to Make Easy Tacos

In a skillet, over medium heat, cook the shrimp until pink on both sides.

Next, add in the taco seasoning and stir to combine.

Shrimp Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tsp taco seasoning
  • 9 street tortillas
  • 1 c shredded cabbage
  • limes, for serving
  • toppings: limes, cojita cheese, sour cream, salsa, red onion, cilantro, avocados, etc.

Instructions

In a skillet, over medium heat, cook the shrimp until pink on both sides.

Next, add in the taco seasoning and stir to combine.

Now for the fun part! Build out your shrimp taco with layers of flavor.
