How to Shred Chicken
My favorite way to shred chicken is with a hand or stand mixer. Allow the chicken to cool for a few minutes before using the mixer.
Using your hand or stand mixer, simply shred the chicken apart.
If you don’t have a mixer, use two forks to pull the chicken apart.

The ingredients are super simple!
- boneless skinless chicken breasts
- chicken broth
If you are making chicken for a specific recipe you can add in seasonings like salt, pepper, fajita seasoning, etc.
If you are making bbq chicken, allow the chicken to cook and shred, then you can add in your favorite bbq sauce.
How long can I freeze shredded chicken for?
It can be stored in a ziploc or container for us up two months.
