Here’s how to make Lemon Brownies aka Lemon Blondies
1/2 cup salted butter, room temperature
3/4 cup granulated sugar
zest of 1/2 lemon
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
powdered sugar, for sprinkling
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Spray 8×8 pan with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, beat butter, sugar, and lemon zest until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after adding each one.
Add lemon juice and beat well.
Add in the flour and baking powder and combine well.
Pour batter into the pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
Let cool completely for 30 minutes – 1 hour and then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
