How to make a Copycat Sonic Watermelon Limeade


3/4 cup water
3/4 cup granulated sugar
8 cups watermelon chunks
1 cup lime juice, freshly squeezed
20 ounces water


In a small sauce pan, add 3/4 cups water and bring to a boil. 

Add sugar and stir for 3 minutes until the sugar dissolves. Set aside.
In a blender, puree the watermelon chunks and pour the liquid through a strainer into a pitcher.
Add the lime juice, sugar and water mixture and the remaining water.
Stir well and chill covered (will last two days)
