How to Make Copycat Chick-fil-A Chicken Nuggets

One of the top secrets fast food places do is marinating the chicken to keep them moist and delicious to bite into. You can also use this technique when you’re marinating other recipes for chicken and not just this.

Let’s start! Feel free to print the recipe below if you’d like!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 cup Dill Pickle Juice
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 1/2 cup Flour
  • 3 tablespoon Powdered Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • Peanut Oil
  • Enjoy with the infamous Chick-fil-A sauce!

Instructions

Cut chicken into 1″ pieces, place in a zippered bag with pickle juice to marinate in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight if you can.

In a large bowl, stir milk and egg until well mixed.

Drain pickle juice from the bag and add the chicken pieces into the milk and egg mixture.

Toss to ensure all pieces are coated.

Drain any excess egg mixture.

Heat oil on medium-high 375 degrees F.

In another freezer size zippered bag, add flour, powdered sugar, paprika, salt, and pepper and shake to combine.

Add chicken to zippered bag and shake to coat.

Cook chicken pieces in oil until crispy and browned (about 3 to 4 minutes).

Drain on paper towels.

How to Make Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce

What are chicken nuggets without some delicious dipping sauce? Serve these copycat Chick-fil-A nuggets with some honey mustard sauce to complete this meal. If you’re looking for a similar flavor to Chick-fil-A’s sauce, just add some barbeque sauce into it.

The dip is so simple, all you need are mayo, yellow mustard, honey, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix all the ingredients together, cover it, then place it in the fridge until it’s ready to serve. This sauce will last up until 2 weeks when placed inside the fridge.

This family-loved recipe takes 30 minutes or less to make. Try this easy dish for yourself!
