Our baby girl turned 18 months in May!

I thought it would be fun to talk about some of her favorite toys and round up some of the best gift ideas for an 18 month old girl.

These are a few of her favorite things!

Bright Beats Dance and Move BeatBo.  You NEED this.  Not only is the toy adorable, but the hours of toddler dance moves that your child will perform are totally worth every penny.  Bethany loves music and loves to dance!  I hope her love for performing continues.  I can already see the dance and cheer mom life in my future!  Bethany and Noah have the most fun dancing to the “Freeze Dance” song.  You might even find yourself, “droppin’ it like it’s hot” right along with the kids.

Silicone bibs.  These are great because they wipe clean, which means less laundry!  They also have a bucket to catch dropped food.  We have these from Modern Twist.  I love the fun colors and designs.  We got ours when Noah was about 18 months, so they have lasted a good 2 years with ZERO wear and tear!  A must have for messy toddlers.

June and January Swing dresses  We LIVE in these.  Throw them on with a cute bow and you’re done.  Your baby can wear them year round too, paired with J&J tights and a cardigan or jacket.  The entire line of June and January clothing is adorable!  If you aren’t addicted already, you will be after visiting their site.  They also have clothing for boys.  Sizes go up to 5T!

Board Book Block Set.  Bethany absolutely loves to carry these around.  I think she likes them because they are tiny, and perfect for little hands.  She stacks them up, and tries to carry 5 or 6 at a time.  She loves to use the box they come in to pack them in, and take them back out over and over again.  Endless toddler entertainment is always a win!

Fisher Price Disney Princess Castle.  Because what girl doesn’t need a Disney Princess Castle?  Bethany loves to play with this.  It plays fun music, and she really loves seeing how many of the adorable little princesses she can stuff into there at a time.  We got her a variety pack of princesses for her first Christmas.  Obviously, she wasn’t playing with them then, (i think they were more for me), but now she carries them around the house, putting them in her little purse, hiding them in her room, the refrigerator, you know, normal places.

Our sweet baby girl is 18 months now! Every day she seems bigger and bigger.

Less of a baby, and more like a little girl.

We feel so lucky that she’s ours!

Bethany Ann, baby B girl, Little B, Queen B, the B-ness, and sometimes the B-monster.  So many nicknames for our little princess.

We can’t stay mad at our little B for long.

Her smile, laugh, and big brown eyes are infectious.

You can’t help but feel happy when you are around her.

I can’t wait to see where life takes this one!  Happy 18 months Bethany Ann!

  2. I knew I had to comment when I saw BeatBo. My son is only 6 months old, but we have the plush BeatBo and it is his FAVORITE. He will cry, and then as soon as the “BeatBo Boogie” comes on, he’ll be laughing. I haven’t bought the one you show yet but I will be when he’s older. Fisher Price also has videos of BeatBo on YouTube, my husband showed my son them while I was showering and my son started crying when I tried to turn it off! We love BeatBo haha

Yes! BeatBo is the best! We have had hours of unlimited fun dancing with that thing!
